FelhasználóFood is the source of my energy, my health, and my general well-being. It is also one of my basic needs.

Andrea KaracsonyFelhasználóI am not a very „foody” person, as a heritage from my family food was something we needed to secure, pleasure was secondary and often luxury. As an adult I am struggling with finding the cross section of healthy/environment friendly/waste minimizing/delicious axes.

fruzsiFelhasználóA big part of my life revolves around food 🙂 It plays an important part in my work, my educational and social life as well. Wholesome, healthy food should be a basic right for everyone, because what you consume serves as the building blocks of your body and influences your overall health – short and longterm.

VikiFelhasználóFood means a lot to me: life, energy, colours, flavours, meals mean time shared with family, friends…

FelhasználóFood is an opportunity to resist and take back control on what and how I consume. I love eating fresh vegetables and fruits from our backyard and experiment with permaculture there. I also like to try out new recipes based on the food I find in our garden. I enjoy eating together with my family and friends very much.

FelhasználóFood means a lot of thing :
– everyday life (shopping, cooking)
– health since I really care about what I eat and how I prepare it,
– ethic and lots of thoughts and debates around what kind of natural elements we can consider our food
– environment, definitely, since our food consumption is connected to many crucial ecological issues
– pleasure, also definitely (!), family, friends, lots of nice moments shared
– when food is self-cooked or even self-produced : creativity and empowerment, automony, solidarity…
– often an issue of concern or even anxiety, in a society where lots of things are complex, and where there is uncertainty (about what you eat and what it does to you) ; but also in a society where body/shape standards are pervasive.2019/11/04-11:52 #9125
Gyongyver SzaboFelhasználóFood is my primary language to connect with myself and with my family and friends. It is fuel and a means for connection at the same time.
My grandmother was the baker in the family and when she baked, she baked for the entire community: us, her family and the neighbours. Food was something she gave in exchange and found her craft in. My mother used to cook large batches of weekend comfort food and when we all sat down around the table, food created a calm and stress-free moment we all adored.
Unlike them, I found myself building a visual and health-focused relationship with food. I eat with my eyes first and I go for nutrients. I’m less of a family provider more of an enabler who teaches her partner to cook and spreads the word of fresh produce and vegetables.

Roni KarsaiFelhasználóFood for me is memories. Food for me is all about the joy it brings to me and people in general. It’s one of our most basic needs to survive, and as I believe that „you’re what you eat”, we have to be very conscious about what we put into our system. With that in mind, its origin is also vital.

domipFelhasználóFood is a joy for me! I love to enjoy the different meals, vegetables, fruits etc, it is a lot of fun to discover new ingredients, recipes.
Food is a cultural specialty! I can know better different cultures through food, it can be a very important connection point between people.
Food is health! It gives the vitamins, the fibers, the proteins, minerals etc.
Food is a challenge for me! Not to waste food, try to reduce the food packaging, eat as healthy as possible, eat fewer dairy products. -
